Wanting to cultivate a sense of community within its congregation, Emmanuel Christian Center engaged us to design a complete lobby renovation of its 1980s-era worship facility.  The renovation provides a warm, comfortable atmosphere that invites parishioners to linger after services.

Emmanuel Christian Center also sought to create zones of information and improve way-finding. The lobby is over 4,000 square feet and has two primary spaces that were very similar in appearance.  The full interior renovation impacted all of the finishes of the lobbies and accomplished way-finding goals through differentiating carpet patterns, color, lighting and furnishings.  The project has been extremely successful in meeting all of its objectives especially in dramatically increasing the time parishioners socialize before and after services thereby enabling a strong sense of community.
